When this happens, it's usually because of a locale error. This subreddit is a place for creepy and out of place things surrounding video games. Other indicators that show the game isn't working are if you see someone floating in the lobby or if the bathroom nearby is pitch black. If the icon is not there, then the game isn't working properly, and is almost certainly unplayable. When you can walk around in the lobby, you should see a heart icon in the bottom left. To check if the game works properly, skip the first cut scene. Hover over that, then click the option "Run With Application Profile." The patches above should have assigned it a Korean profile that runs the game properly. There should be two shortcuts, so right click the one called "whiteday." Once you've right clicked it, an option for Locale Emulator should show up. #White day a labyrinth named school mods install#Right click the shortcut in the install folder. For me, it's "WHITEDAY" in program files x86. I got it working again recently on my PC, so I can try to help you out.ĭownload the game (I don't want to provide a link), then install this patch: I'm no computer whiz, and I never did manage to play the original for very long (got too scared honestly), so I may not be the most help, but. White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is definetly good enough to play over and over again to get all of the endings. #White day a labyrinth named school mods mod#You could always just play the original game without the mod and then after that install it to see the differences. But it is up to you whether you want to restart or not. Since there are so many new things added. It is well worth losing an hour of gameplay over. Since a lot of things that were removed from the original game are restored in this mod. #White day a labyrinth named school mods Patch#If you don't want to restart your game then don't download and install the Ultimate Fan Patch Mod. Remember, you don't have to restart your game if you are installing the patch. If it says you are running version 16.3 then you have the latest patch installed, if not then drag the patcher to your White Day game directory and install it. It will tell you which version you are running in the lower left corner of the launcher. It should be the WhiteDay - Start.exe located in your White Day game directory which is usually (C:\Program Files (x86)\WHITEDAY). You can tell which version you are running by opening up your White Day Launcher. So if you use the v16.3 patch you don't have to restart your game. But you do have to restart the game if you download the ultimate fan patch mod. :) You don't have to restart the game for the patch to work. You are very welcome! I don't mind helping out someone in need. I hope you enjoy! Don't get too scared! :D The v16.3 patch will fix a lot of the issues and make it run a whole lot smoother. Here is the mod page: Īlso make sure that you download the latest patch for the 2001 game here: But this mod recreates the first version of White Day that was the creepiest. The game was so scary that the people who made it removed a lot of content and ghosts. But you have to find these items in the game, they are well hidden. It also adds back in a pepper spray bottle and a tazer to protect yourself from the Janitor. ![]() Check out the trailer here: īasically the mod adds al of the content that was cut from the game and adds it back in. I would also recommend downloading the Ultimate Fan Patch which adds removed content back into the 2001 version. It is definetly better to play the 2001 version first. But White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is one of the scariest games I have played. But the ghosts only show up on Hard and Real difficulties in the remake. But the remake does add more ghosts and collectables to find. ![]() No, don't quit the original game! I would play the 2001 version first. ![]()
